Carmen joined Tudor Ventures in 1996. Prior to joining Tudor, Carmen worked for Triumph Capital Group, a Boston based private equity firm investing in later stage companies.
Carmen focuses on internet related businesses, software, and business services. He has led or co-led Tudor’s investments in a number of companies, including Art Technology Group, Captura Software (acquired by Concur Technologies), Chordiant Software, GAIN Capital, Global Cash Access, Managed Storage International, MediaBridge, Recruitmax, and Shoebuy.
Carmen currently serves on the Board of Directors of Batanga, Inc., Incentra Solutions, Inc., Tract Manager, Inc., Turbine, Inc., Velocity Technology, Inc., Vurv Technology, Inc (formerly Recruitmax), and Wimba, Inc.
Carmen is a graduate of Harvard College, with a degree in Economics, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
