Sanjiv Singh is responsible for the company’s financial, operational planning, treasury and reporting functions. He also plays a key role in the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Singh brings over 15 years to his role as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Singh initially joined Wimba in 2008 as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis and was responsible for leading the company’s budgeting initiatives, creating a sustainable financial planning process, and providing analysis and support to each of the Company’s departments.
Prior to joining Wimba, Sanjiv was employed at Wyndham Worldwide, called Cendant Corporation prior to its spin-off, where he was Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Previously, he served in fund management positions at Barnard & Co., which represented a European family group in its global venture capital activities, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He began his career as an accountant with the Singer Sewing Company and also served as an auditor at the public accounting firm of Friedman, Alpren & Green, LLP.
Sanjiv holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and has achieved Six Sigma yellow belt certification. He is enrolled in Rutgers University’s Executive MBA program, commencing in September of 2009.
